When  a new pilot applicant is hired  at most airlines the human resources dept goes through great care to ensure the applicant understands the code of ethics & company core values at any airline. Every company may be slightly different, but usually their company values includes safety first, passenger comfort, company savings, & finally treating employees well. Well that last one was compromise at Southwest Airlines two weeks ago when a Southwest Captain made some very rude & degrading comments to his fellow employees, women, & a different gender. When you listen to this pilots rant you can tell he's not a professional & makes you wonder how he was ever hired. He definitely gave Southwest a bad reputation. However, I do think the majority of pilots are professional & do not behave in that matter.   Pilot Rant Video
