There has have been some extraordinary events this week. The death of Osama Bin Laden has brought closure & relieve to many in the United States.  However, how does UBL' s death affect security today. One thing is for sure & that is aviation will always be a primary target to terrorist. That's the bad news! The good news is that the government is aware of this & when it comes to aviation security they will spare no expense to secure the aviation industry. Besides, there's too much at stake. In the future months you will see extraordinary changes & multiple layers of security. TSA will often change their routine to throw the bad guys of balance. There are numerous pilots carrying firearms as Federal Flight Deck Officers. There are  90% more Federal Air Marshals compared to before 9/11, plus better screening. Security also starts before you arrive at the airport. As a pilot, the last thing I worry about is threats at the airport & neither sure you. When you worry about terrorism then they already won.
