Quirky Travel Stories
A few months ago I blog about a story of a gentleman who had a fear of flying. Mr Mark Malkoff overcame his fear of flying by living on an airplane, & traveling across 38 airports that took 267 flight hours which is like going around the world eight times. He did this within a year. He slept at airports across the country. He did this in partnership with Airtran Airlines. He even made the Ripley's Believe It, or Not television show. In a sense, Mr Malkoff constant travel worked to gradual desensitize him of his fear. Although this is a bizarre odyssey, I would not recommend going this far. Overcoming fear of flying is a gradual process. There are better ways to overcome your fear for example, by gaining more knowledge about flying & learning to fly comfortable. Remember, you were not born with a fear of flying so it can be unlearned.
