Becoming an airline pilot

I still remember my very first flying lesson in 1987 out of Teterboro Airport. I still consider this to be the highlight of my life considering that I learn to fly before learning how to drive. Most pilots always remember their first lesson, or their first flight instructor. My instructor reminds me of the topgun movie character played by Tom Cruise. Today, it is still possible to learn what it feel like to become a pilot or airline captain for the day. There are some companies that specialize in giving consumers a joy ride in a multi-million dollar flight simulator. There are very few companies that do this because the sims are usually busy 24/7 with airline or military training. Flying a simulator can be an excellent way to help some people overcome mild cases of flying of flying. The instructor can teach you what goes on behind the scenes of the preflight & setting up the cockpit prior to takeoff. You will actually do a high speed takeoff at 140 knots in a controlled & safe environment using full motion. You will see how it feels to fly & land a million dollar jet. You can can come away with this experience more knowledgeable & confident. To learn more about where to take a course like this there is a company in Las Vegas called Become An Airline Pilot For A Day. After your flight you can then try you luck at some gambling.
