Every once in a while air crews get a disruptive passenger. Sometimes the disruptive passenger is a simple case of a person  with nervous jitters, or panic sufferers with a fear of flying. However, in most cases it's a passenger being uncooperative with compliance with a flight attendant or crew member duty. Flight attendants are there for your safety. There are typically three to four attendants for 150 to 200 passengers. They have to make sure passengers are in compliance with a lot of simple rules that passengers may not understand . Just remember, every rule was written because of a previous incident. When a passenger doesn't comply with the flight attendants then usually the attendant ask for a pilot crew member to step in to get that person to comply. Here's were it has an impact on safety. Now a pilot is disrupted from their critical duties to either make an PA announcement or send a note to that passenger. If the aircraft is taxing the FAA consider that to be a critical phase of flight. That is because more near misses or collisions happen there.A passenger getting out of their seat to get their jacket out of the overhead bin after the airplane just landed is disrespecting all the other passengers safety & their action is no different from a drunk driver on the highway. I see various incidents of disruptive passengers all the time. In my opinion these people are the greatest threat to safety. In some cases, it maybe in the passengers best interest to help the flight attendants keep in line a disruptive passenger because it effects your safety too. Pilots should be focus in the cockpit & not policing the cabin.
