Jetblue Flight

On Monday April 5th there was a jetblue flight that took off out of Newark Airport bound for Florida when the engine cowling snapped off. The engine cowling is one of a few panels that cover the engine. The aircraft safely returned for a precautionary landing. The engine cowling should not snap off unless it was not secured properly. Although this incident resulted in a few frazzle nerves, fortunately there were no injuries. We came along way in aircraft engineering within the last 50 years. Just imagine the aircraft with battle damage from world war two & still kept flying to return their crews safely. One positive thing to say is the resiliency of today's modern jetliner that's build to take a lot of damage & still keep flying.
