Bird Strikes
On March 11 on what should have been a routine flight out of Newark Airport, NJ turned scary for some passengers when a Boeing B-777 with 300 passengers en route to Hong Kong encountered multiple hits from large geese. A few geese hit the engines. Some hit the left wing. Many people thought this was going to be a repeat of the Miracle on the Hudson flight when a US Airways Airbus A-320 lost both engines & crashed in the Hudson River with everyone surviving on 01/09. However, this was not a repeat of that occurrence because the aircraft only suffer minor damage. In fact, both engines were intact & under full power. This shows the resiliency & strength of today's jet engine. The only thing the pilots on that B-777 had to do was circle for a while so they can dump fuel. You don't want to land overweight with lots of fuel if you can help it because it can damage the air frame of the airplane with extreme structural loads.

Have you considered a natural anxiety treatment such as Relaquil to help with flight anxiety?
