Yesterday, we heard of an Air France A-330 Airbus plane went missing after take off from Rio in Brazil en route to France. The airplane went missing over the Atlantic. There been all kinds of rumor such as turbulence which I remain doubtful, & also electrical. This airplane has a good safety record. It's fly by wire which means it sensitive to touch on the control. All the inputs are electrical versus push & pull cables, & hydraulics. I know that Air France has a good safety record & it's pilots are among the best in the world. Hopefully in a few weeks we will get more accurate information. Until then, my thoughts are for the family members.
