Swine Flu Virus
The recent swine flu outbreak, & it's continued expansion in the U.S. have created potential risk in flying. Because of air travel, disease outbreak can expand with greater magnitude. Airplanes are a germ filled environment. Plus, the quality of the air is not as fresh as outside the airplanes cabin. Air is constantly being recirculated thru out the cabin. It's important to continue to wash your hands, or use hand sanitizer often on your flight. Airlines are taking more precautions by doubling their efforts to scrub down airplanes during turn arounds. To date, few airlines have canceled any flights to Mexico, but health officials are screening people around some airports. Some of the flu symptoms you need to be aware of are fever, sore throat, cough, body aches, head aches, chills, fatigue, diarrhea, & vomiting. Passengers could help by not traveling if your sick. Also using basic common sense such as covering your mouth if you do have a cold, or cough. Theres no reason for air travel to continued to be safe as long as we all take some prudence.
