Anxiety Flight or Fight

There are generally several different types of disorders in people that have a fear of flying. The main anxiety is general anxiety disorder which is an anxiety of people who constantly worry about everything outside their control. This is the most common type of flying anxiety among people with a fear of flying. Panic disorders are involved with people who get sudden unpredictable episodes of  panic attacks. A example would be someone who's relax & calm one moment, and  then when a little turbulence occurs they suffer panic attacks.
The last disorder is phobia. Phobia involves having a fear of a specific situation such as a fear of takeoffs, or landings. All three of these disorders have one thing in common that is once you get anxiety your senses start to become more sensitive. Your heart then starts to race & along with your adrenaline. Your vision becomes tunnel vision, & begins to sharpen. Your hearing & sense of smell becomes more sharper. Once your flight anxiety peaks, you either stick around, and fight it , or you run & take flight. People with a fear of flying face this situation all the time. However, in order to overcome your fear of flying, you must learn to give up some control. Learn to be a better passenger, and trust the  professionals to keep you safe.
