I heard today that there was a DC-9 that went down today in Congo, Africa. The latest is that there are 78 fatal injuries. I would like to express my sympathy for those family members. Despite this accident, we continue to have an excellent safety year in the U.S & Europe. Even including worldwide accident data, the amount of people killed in plane crashes world wide is still far less then those killed in the U.S. from hospital malpractice.
